I loved working with Chanel & Josh last weekend. There was a lot of laughing during the shoot…a lot of laughing is (I think) always a good thing! It is clear that Chanel & Josh are perfect for one another – even I could see that, and we just met.
In a lot of these photos I just love how you can SEE how happy they are together!
This was taken at the fountain right outside of the Lincoln Park Conservatory…a pretty sentimental spot because it is where Josh proposed to Chanel.
Below might by my two favorites of the shoot…I don’t really know why, just something about ‘em.

Anniversary Session :: Oscar & Lina

Creating this post makes me miss my Swedes so much! Oscar and Lina have been going to school here in Chicago with Jamie for the past two years, and sadly we had to say goodbye to them a couple of weeks ago. It was SO wonderful having them here, and we just don’t know what we’ll do without them next year! I guess a trip to Sweden is in order?
Oscar and Lina asked me to do some photos of them to remember their Chicago neighborhood, and also to help celebrate 5 years of marriage! For some reason I always get a little nervous shooting friends, but in the end they are so much fun to photograph.

Lina is a perfect model, so easy to photograph.
Ha! This was an experiment – thanks to Oscar for being my guinea pig – he jumped a lot.
Ok, I guess I just love them all. And, I have a thing for grasses.
