Just last week I posted Paul & JJ’s engagement session…its kinda fun to be able to share their wedding photos so quickly! I really enjoyed getting to know Paul & JJ this past week, they are those warm and welcoming kind of people that instantly make you feel like you’re part of the family. That was made clear again and again as I observed the way they interacted with each person at the wedding, which made the whole day wonderful.
I started off doing some getting ready photos of JJ and her girls…
glowing.
its official…she’s a shoe girl.
JJ…you’re gorgeous, truly!
The first look…in the courtyard at St. Ita’s
If these two decide to have children, they’re going to be beautiful! Right?!
Paul’s niece and nephew’s were the little ring bearer and flower girl, very sweet.
Being born and raised in Canada I’m quite uneducated when it comes to the military…but getting to know Paul I began to feel proud to know that people like him are serving our country. As I got to chat with him a little bit, I also became very impressed by women like JJ who are military wives. It is a sacrifice for sure, and she is incredibly gracious about it.

Paul & JJ chose St. Ita’s for their ceremony because it is the church where JJ’s parent’s were married…Forty years ago from this month!

oh, how I love this one!

Kristen at Kio Kreations did all of the florals and paper products for the wedding, I loved the center pieces.

Congratulations Paul & JJ! I’m not sure if you’re still in Chicagoland or if you’ve headed back to the sun…I hope you had an amazing week celebrating with family and friends here on the mainland. Who knows, maybe I’ll see you in Hawaii someday : )
